Episode Description:
Why do we repeat the same cycles? Why do relationships feel hard? Why do we sometimes react like children—no matter how much we’ve grown?
In this deep and vulnerable episode, we explore the powerful world of shadow work—the process of meeting the hidden parts of ourselves shaped by early life experiences. From ages 0 to 7, our subconscious mind is wide open, soaking up beliefs, reactions, and behaviors from our caregivers, schools, culture, and community. And unless we do the work to unravel what we’ve inherited, those unspoken patterns continue to run our adult lives in the background.
I share a personal story—the moment shadow work truly began for me—when my son spilled a glass of milk on the floor. What could’ve been a simple accident opened the door to something much deeper: a confrontation with my own reactivity, my inherited responses, and my own wounded child within.
This episode is an invitation to begin looking at those moments not with shame—but with curiosity, compassion, and conscious awareness.

After reviewing this episode, I realized I made an error in the timeline. This is what happens when you have ADHD, time is elusive! My journey of inner work started as stated, but the year is incorrect. The year must have been around 2016, and it wasn't until late 2018, early 2019, that I discovered Shadow Work and realized that’s what I was doing all along.
