Your breath is your inner rhythm, your sacred anchor, your life force and it’s way more than just an automatic function. In this expansive episode, we explore the profound power of your breath, both as a tool for healing and a thread that unites cultures across the globe.

I begin by exploring the difference between Pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) and Holotropic Breathwork, sharing their very different yet unique benefits and the ways they support emotional, mental, and energetic transformation.

From the Hawaiian concept of mana to the Chinese qi, the Japanese ki, the Vedic prana, and the Iroquois orenda—you’ll hear how nearly every culture has a word for this mystical, “life force” we carry within us.

You’ll also be guided through a breathwork exercise designed to restore balance, calm the nervous system, and return you to center. If you are feeling a little wired it’ll take you down just a little, and if you’re feeling tired it will bring you up just enough.
